"Fantasies created by time and water"
Fantastic works in a unique new style
Yavor Shopov, FRSB is professor of art composition and photography. His photos are published worldwide in national and international journals and books and featured on many national TV news and emissions. Some of them are published over 10 times each. Prof. Shopov is director of the prestigious Art@Net International Gallery. His photos are exhibited and represented by Art@Net International Gallery, Artnliving Gallery (Korea), and Maestro Gallery (Bulgaria).
Prof. Shopov developed a new method for photography of phosphorescence (afterglow of crystals after irradiation with UV light). He used dramatic graphic and color impact of the photos obtained by this method to produce works of fine art and to develop a New Style of Art Photography- “Crystal Zoomorphism”. He is using such photos to create compositions with a look of fantastic animals or aliens, with such visual appearance, which can not be produced by fantasy of any artist. Various people associate them with various life forms. So these photos look like mirrors of the soul of the person. A special patented camera (made by him) is necessary to make such photos, therefore only he has such works so far.
